What to Wear?

You want to look spiffy at the upcoming W-L 71 reunion events, but not overdressed. So what to wear? (Probably not your gym suit.)

Friday night – Casual’s the word. Jeans and a nice shirt/top are fine.

Saturday night – Only slightly fancier. No coats and ties (unless you want), no sequins and gowns. Think business casual. Or casual business.

Sunday morning – You’re on your own!

Need some guidance? Lifestyle brand Jaxson Maximus has a few ideas.

Saturday Night Event

We heard you about the plan for our reunion (Saturday evening, Oct. 8) at Marymount’s new Ballston campus. What’s on the agenda?

6 p.m. Food. Drink. Conversation.

7 p.m. Food. Drink. Conversation.

8 p.m. Food. Drink. Conversation.

9 p.m. Food. Drink. More conversation.

10 p.m. Au revoir until Sunday brunch.

No deejay? No dancing? No George Dodge as Jim Morrison? Nope — just an evening full of swapping stories, sharing smartphone photos, and catching up on the last umpteen years. Plus some pretty phenomenal items on the buffet table.

Questions? Call Mary Keeney at 443-584-6365 – leave a message if she can’t answer. We promise she’ll call you back!

Where is the Party?

We heard you about the reunion venue! You want a place that’s cool but not too expensive, where you can mix and mingle and hear each other talk. We’ve got you covered. We’ll get together Saturday evening, Oct. 6, at Marymount University’s new Ballston Center.

Marymount describes the building as “open concept with spectacular floor-to-ceiling views and streaming natural light.” It’s won awards for design and environmental excellence. It will be an awesome spot to celebrate our 50th/51st! Questions? Call Mary Keeney at 443-584-6365. To buy your reunion ticket(s), along with drink and parking tickets, click here.

Tickets on Sale Now!

We heard you about the ticket price! Thanks to all who filled out our surveys. We’ve done our best to keep the reunion price at the level you requested. Tickets online are $75 until Sept. 11 (for you early birds), then $85 until Oct. 7. After that, it’s $95 at the door.

What does your ticket pay for? Among other things, a great venue, a tasty array of food, the catering staff, security, insurance, and various fees. Even a fairly simple get-together costs quite a bit to put on. We’re working hard to make sure you get your money’s worth! Questions? Call Mary Keeney at 443-584-6365.
